Longan Berries
First of the season, LONGAN Berries, a local pesticide free grown right in Naples, Florida.
 this fruit is a cousin to the Lychee and to me they taste like a really, really, really sweet Cantaloupe.  what you want to do is break open the shell and eat the inside. There is a pit in the middle. Just work around it like you would a cherry pit and only eat the white flesh inside.
